Story Tour
Story Planet developed this program for 100 students from four schools in the Jane & Finch neighbourhood, with the aim of collecting stories inspired by and set within their community. Students wrote, rehearsed, and recorded their stories, now available on an app, creating a whole new way to tour this iconic Toronto location.
This program was funded by the Canada Healthy Communities Initiative and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Story Tour Takes the Stage
Story Planet partnered with The National Ballet of Canada’s Community Engagement Programme, YOU Dance and Driftwood Public School to create a new dance piece choreographed by Anne-Marie Côté based on a story written during a Story Tour workshop. The dance debuted at York University on April 21, 2023.
